The OSU Alumni Club of West Michigan
Invites You and Your Family to
The 2011 Summer Family Picnic and Student Send-Off
When: Sunday, August 28, 2011 12:00 noon – 3:00 p.m.
Where: Spring Grove Park
1800 Greenly Street between 16th and 24th Avenues in Jamestown Township10 minutes from The Rivertown Crossings Mall – 5 minutes from the 8th Avenue exit off of Route M-6
1) Take I-196 to M-6 (The South Beltline) and exit at Exit 1 for 8th Avenue
2) Go South on 8th Avenue to Greenly Street and go West on Greenly
3) Spring Grove Park is on your left.
Why:
o A Good-Old Fashioned Family Picnic with great food, fun and Buckeye Comraderie -
bring your Corn-Hole games etc...
o A chance to meet some of the 91 OSU Upperclassmen from West Michigan and share your favorite OSU campus story.
o An opportunity for the 9 new First-Year Buckeyes from West Michigan, and their parents, to meet each other and make connections prior to being on campus in September (possible car pools for rides back home, etc. ) and to meet many of OSU Buckeyes living in West Michigan.
o To RE-ENERGIZE, RE-CONNECT and NETWORK with West Michigan Buckeyes as a
KICK-OFF for our fall activities and the upcoming football season.

Last names beginning with A-M, please bring a dessert to share and
Last names beginning with N-Z, please bring a side dish or salad to share.
Meats for grilling, pop and water are provided by The OSU Alumni Club of West Michigan.
