The Buckeyes and Hurricanes will meet for only the 4th time. This will be the Hurricanes second visit to Columbus. The Buckeyes are 2-1 against Miami. The lone loss occurred at the 1999 Kick-Off Classic in New Jersey. The Buckeyes defeated Miami 31-24 to win the 2002 National Championship.
Next year will be Ohio States first visit to Miami. The Hurricanes play in the same stadium as the Miami Dolphins.
